I used to haul flatbed for J Grady Randolph. The sleeper I had was tiny. A bunk and 2 - 15 inch wide wardrobes for storage. Then they want me to stay out for 5 to 6 weeks. Told them that it just wasn't worth it working with them.

Start at Swift on Monday. Told them I can stay out for months at a time (no family ties), but I need a decent sleeper.

    BostonTanker and Chinatown Thank this.

They don't have a lot of Prime Style mini trucks.

But if you really have 27 years experience why even consider Swift?

Keim TS has "studio sleepers." Huge fully loaded sleepers.

Halvor Lines has big sleepers with KW's, Volvo's, Peterbilt's, Freightliner's.

Howard Transportation has decent sleepers and a terminal in West Virginia.

Hi Diantane, well, it's funny how we changed our ideas of what's small. Ever have a "Mercury" stainless sleeper behind you? We used to call it the "coffin". You'd throw an extra pair of pants, and some clean underwear in the corner, and you could barely turn around, but it was better than across the seats. I agree with Balakov. Plenty of places with nice trucks out there. Good luck.

This quote is too good to not go in my forum signature.

Maybe you've finally discovered the secret to driver size... Its not the food or the lack of exercise, its these big sleepers that we have to grow into. I wanna stay skinny, who wants to trade for my 86" studio? I'll even throw in a few meal tickets to the iron skillet.
