I suspect he is talking about driving between Winchester,ma and Frederick, va. My GPS routes me on highway 7 and highway 340 about 50 miles, and if I program it for interstates it will chose I-81 and I-70 about 70 miles. Both take about the same amount of time, the interstate is further but quicker. I would be surprised if the GPS that Schneider has does not allow option to choose shortest distance or Interstates. He could have used an Atlas also, but that would be old school.

You can probably cut and paste replace the 'pmpkn with a hundred other big corporate trucking outfits ... the big White and Yellow out of Lowell, AR comes to mind.

You will find all the best office staff on the gravy accounts, starting out -you will be in the Shark pool, most companies are like that.

 

Just one, how does any team make 1600mile a day in a 60 mph truck?

24x60=1440 ...

Realistically, most teams at any company would drool to have 1000 a day regular.

 

Dale- Wasn't trying to deceive anyone....Elite is over 1400 a day which can be done with the Governed trucks. We have done 1490 in 24 hours but it wasn't any fun.

Zen...trucks are governed at 65 for teams. When you include breaks and fuel it does bring you way down. 1100 a day is just about right so that you don't destroy hours.

Man you guys are quick to blast someone!! My intent was to show that it could be done and explain how. I'm not a veteran by no means but we came into this not knowing anything and still are able to make a good run of it. I hate when others complain that they aren't making money or getting miles. The only one they have to blame is themselves.

Schneider teams are 65mph trucks

 

We had a schneider recruiter talk to our class today. Bleh bleh bleh here's a pamplit and a free pen.

 

warhippy your posts are so neat I did not consider a typo, my bad so I will only accuse you of a little sugarcoating glad you are happy where you are at but big orange has a turnover problem it just can not be just whimpy noobs that are the problem.
