No no i got out of the truck and closed the door and it locked. He had to pick the passenger lock to get me in. KW had a recall on defective door locks last year I'm guessing I got one of those defective locking mechanisms.
You aint gonna believe this... Yet Another Ic Choice thread move over DFO!

I haven't had any trouble with my locks though and I ALWAYS have a key on me. -
The 680 I drove was designed to avoid lockouts. If the door was locked, it would unlock when the door closed. I had to lock it with the key from the outside.

No my door is just busted everytime I get out it locks

So Im really starting to Enjoy this choice thing even with all the quirks. Had a bit of chaos today got to a pickup and found out that the shift went home with out finishing my trailer that was ready at 2330 on the 19th. It wasn't done and i wasn't waiting til the 22nd for them to come back. So at 930 i tried to call into the office to have my three preplanned loads pulled. At 950 i get a young lady in ops explain my situation and she agrees to pull 2 of my loads and put a load i found ahead of the last.
Only one problem the moment i gave her the load number someone must've stole it. At 956 i have my entire preplan gone and she tells me get to finding a load QUICK. So i spend the next 4 minutes power searching and settle on a load that is 215 miles away but will pretty much cover the three loads i had except about 450 of it. I can deal with that. I got the load assigned clicked refresh and got kicked out of the system i laughed nervously thinking how i just saved my week if i hadn't gotten that load assigned i wouldve lost a entire shift and probably wouldn't have recovered. I took a hit from losing those three loads but here are this weeks numbers minus total miles
Lancaster PA - Smyrna DE 7k $423 2.57 pm
Smyrna DE - Barrington NJ 34k $326 5.18 pm
Swedsboro NJ - Pittston PA 17k $273 1.75 pm
Fuel -560
Bloomsburg PA - Mt Crawford 43k $397 1.31 pm
High Point NC - South Windsor CT 11k $1542 1.78 pm
2961 Gross
1269 Net
Overall not to bad a week considering i was off from Sunday til Friday pretty much Losing those loads cost me money but with the fuel i Likely would've purchased my net would've only been maybe 150 higher -
You will have weeks like that..loads cancel and it throws you for a loop.
Keep grinding on..it will even out somewhere. -

Dang it's been 6 days already. I don't even know what I've done the past week. I made the mistake of working never again. Wait until you guys seen my garbage numbers for this week.
I've decided to fire atbs the 75 dollars isn't worth it I can use gauges and save hundreds. I'll do research through out the year to learn about deductions so I can also do my own taxes next year. I may actually attempt them this year but my accounting and receipt retention wasn't that great. I have a live load tomorrow at 1500 I'll be back on with numbers then.rickybobby Thanks this. -
I am looking at that ATBS vs Gauges option right now. I'm not really impressed with the reports ATBS provides. Some of the numbers don't look right and they don't have the detail that Gauges has.
I don't mind inputting the numbers into Gauges, it gives me the confidence I need when I see the reports. You can see a lot more useful information in Gauges.
They are even moving toward preparing tax returns for Operators. Gauges will also provide a simple report to provide a tax preparer all he needs to do the returns.
I am definitely leaning toward the Gauges route.
