well as i am coming up on 23 years old, im looking around for something else...as where i am at, is always in the balance , talks of closing and what not...so ive been looking.

im very interested in TMC, so how are things going for you guys/gals?

how is the pay; miles or % ?

do they have a division like east or something like this side of the miss river?

whats the deal with who gets what trucks? theres a driver right up the road from me seams like every other week he is in between 379 and 387 and then theres a few KWs floating around...

just want some opinons , i want to flat bed for sure, and for the most part its going to be Maverick or TMC , and to be honest i like TMC for the fancy rooster cruisers, and Maverick for saftey features so i just want to hear want TMC drivers got to say about it

    Thanks yall

I would recommend patience. All the TMC drivers are out working and usually post on the weekends. Some of us stay out two weeks and more at a time.

Everything is going well with me. I enjoy working for TMC. It is a company you can take pride in working for.

It did somewhat slow down during the Winter when it traditionally does and partly because of the slow down in the economy. Flatbedding, usually, slows down before any other segment because we are hauling the construction materials.

I have notice an increase in freight and rates for some weeks now.

I have figured my pay both percentage and mileage. Far and away I do better on percentage. I think all new drivers will. New drivers make less on mileage, but make the same on percentage.

Yes, I'm from Texas so I don't know much about it.

You don't get much say in what truck you get. Maybe, if you do well in class and get finished with your driving test you may say I prefer a different truck and if it isn't too much problem they may switch you. I wouldn't count on it though. You will get whatever truck is available, new or old, Peterbilt or KW.

    Yeah, Maverick sucks!:biggrin_2559:
