Better not turn in that log sheet with 7.25 hrs and 485 miles on it. ;)

They should indeed. It has no business in the bad companies to drive for. Bad companies base a good portion of your pay on safety bonuses , and fuel bonuses and your comfort in the heat or extreme cold costs you because they take , take and take again til you're down to avg'ng 32 cpm. There are trucks that mty Friday regularly and spend the weekend living in truckstops 40 weekends a year. Poly trucks are running weekends a great majority of the time. I've not sat a weekend at a truckstop with poly in the 22 months I've been here. 22times I've needed to get home too, so I could get to the VA and get injections. and they're 22 for 22 in getting me there without me having to get outright crappy with them, plus they pay me the miles home. Ya know I do understand how no matter how good a company is it's never a good fit for everyone , but there are far too many people making it at poly for it to be thought of a bad company. The forums are tagged , good and bad companies to drive for then it says list your favorite companies here, where this thread started 3 yrs ago. There are always things that can get better , and worse. We at Jevic had it pretty good , I myself , the last 3 yrs avg'd 63k Per Yr home 45 out of 52 W/Ends. Then they went under. Stability is what I seek with a company that is unlikely to be bought out , or fold , and has the ability to keep you busy 9 months a year. Slow time is Christmas time and they have maybe the best home time policy in the industry , and still make 53 k easily. This doesn't sound like a bad company , no it's not Walmart , then again Poly isn't demanding your cell phone bill every month to see if at anytime you spent more than 30 min's talking to your wife on any given day when you were driving either.

No, I applied, sent in all of the documents and never heard from them again. I sent her an email to ask why and received no response.

If you have a decent record and live in their hiring area

    they should be interested.

They been hiring a lot of people lately .

Poly is apparently starting to get a turnover rate
