hey guy's this is my first post so i'm not sure if this is in the right place, but here goes.
I currently have my CDL Learners and going to an approved school, my father works for Landstar and has his own truck and wants to buy me a truck after I get my license, we cant go with landstar untill, I have 1 yr OTR experince, but we were wondering if he leases on the truck to a diffrent company like schnieder they require there owner ops to be 23(i'm 21) will the 23 age apply to me or my father since he is the lease and i'm the driver

If your dad cared about your future he would want you to learn something that could lead towards a career that could bring you satisfaction and happiness in your life.unless you are a troubled kid that needs something to do.your dad is being selfish and has given you very poor advice for your future. It always annoys me when parents are so short sighted. ask yourself do you want to live your fathers life?

C'mon man. Seriously? Are you unhappy with driving or what? Maybe guy here wants to be a driver. He didn't say pops is forcing him to do it. Wish someone would have bought me my first truck instead of me running myself half to death trying to pay for it. -
