    It means something. Unfortunately the boy (girl) was too selfish to realize all it means. The truck driver is a victim here.

    I know someone that drove bus. Same thing happened. The guy stepped off the curb right in front of the bus. No time to react. The driver took a whole year off from work just to get back on track. Counseling ect...

    I don't know how common it is but I'm sure it happens more than most would realize. I know 2 it happened to. 1 will never drive again.

    Things have to be pretty bad to take your own life but why ruin other lives at the same time? Terrible.

    I had this too happen January 2011. It is something that I don't think I will every get over.i wouldn't wish it on no one. The person committing suicide doesn't realize how much it affects other people especially the ones that kill them

    Selfish....folks that commit suicide do not think of whom they involve or leave behind. It's all about them and their problems.

    I've heard a lot about this. She went through a lot. Unfortunately lots of these LGBT kids are offing themselves these days, it's very sad. Sad for her. The family and that driver. I read the suicide note she wrote too. I don't condone suicide, but ####, don't bring anyone with you or involve an innocent person.

    That transgender person new exactly what he was doing. He killed himself to hurt his parents. How pathetic to use another
    person like a truck driver to destroy yourself. A totally selfish mentally twisted person. My sympathies to the truck driver. I
    also offer my sympathies to the all of the people who had to go out and clean up what was left of this guy on I-71.
