Its amazing how many people are not responsible for their own actions. Its always someone else's fault.

I could care less if someone is in their right mind, wrong mind or left mind. If they did something to harm someone else its their deal and nobody else's.

I do think it was wrong to inflict the horror onto another person as he or she did, but her parents should be ashamed of themselves as well, I don't wish the deceased to go to hell, but her parents? Well? I won't comment

 

iv known 2 drivers over the years that were directly involved in nasty fatality accidents 1 being a suicide and neither one of them ever drove again .

 

You're taking what the coward posted in their note as what actually happened. I'm willing to bet there are two sides to the story and the other side may very well be different.

Anyone who is chicken #### enough to do what they did is chicken #### enough to make stuff up.

 

What happened is absolutely horrible. But, since this thread has made a turn away from the accident, and toward an ethics discussion, I will jump in here...

This is faulty logic. You are attempting to draw similarities between LBGTQ folks, murderers, and pedophiles. The difference is that unlike serial killers and pedophiles, being a lesbian or a queer is victimless.

So, in my mind, if someone is born a certain way that they have no control over, and it does not hurt anyone else that they are that way, then yes, it is absolutely ok.

It kinda saddens me to have to spell that out, honestly.

 

I was using hyperbole. But I can add "victimless" traits as well: Some people are born predisposed to alcoholism, drug addition, gambling, obesity, etc. Doesn't automatically make the behavior OK...

Note that I am not saying being LGBT is wrong. I don't know if it is, nor do I much care. I'll leave that to the flying spaghetti monster... I'm just tired of the assumption that it must be ok because they were born that way.

 

You're doing it again. You've just changed the comparisons from very obviously harmful crimes (murder) to self destructive addictions (alcoholism), neither of which bear a resemblance to being gay, because being gay is victimless.

I'm not gay, but I do care about this issue. Don't leave too much for the flying spaghetti monster to decide, you have a mind capable of reasoning.

however it is clear at 1 Cor. 6:9-11 that God does not allow this type of behavior.

With help from God and determination on your part, you can overcome ANYTHING. including these types of feelings to want to have a sex change.

what this "person" did was WRONG. that poor driver , i feel for him. how terrible for the family of this spoiled child as well. anyone with half a brain knows that doing something like this would affect the person that hits them...selfish, immature and spoiled comes to mind. obviously the kid had some issues and for that i feel bad, but at 17 was old enough to reason how things would affect others from his actions....just sad ..
