XM has been known to give radios away. Never know, talk to customer service first.

onyx plus is what I have and it works great along with the included magnet antenna after a year now, also with the onyx plus you can pause, skip and repeat songs so its pretty nice, if you pause it then you can store up to 1 hour of skipping so I just pause whenever im stopped.

that works fine as long as your not driving in the middle of nowhere where you get zilch reception, or those who have data caps.

TSS-Radio out of Chicago has everything you'll need. I've done a lot of business with them with no problems.

Would I need to get one with a home dock? Reason asking is didn't know if I needed to pay the extra for this as I am only home on the weekend and could use my computer if I am understanding this right what I have read so far on their website.

I just got this for free using my points. But when I tried plugging it into my dash mounted radio, the sound was horrible. I'm buying a boombox and will plug into that instead. Then I can take the radio anywhere as well.

Try using a different cable, I use a higher quality one that I have owned for awhile that I used to use when I ran Pandora off my phone. My sound is pretty dang good even better than the radio stations.
