I use a Garmin 560, she refuses to let me on I 80 anywhere in Nebraska, she will tell me to turn on restricted roads and then inform me after I turn that I'm on a restricted road.

I'm fairly good at knowing when to ignore her.

But still, I love her, even though she hates my guts.

Like you should ignore the Amish folk below me that tell you to only use a Rand McNalley map.

    Use them both.

I also use google earth, mapquest and Apple maps.

you left the three big players in the field, rand macnally, garmin and cobra out of your list. interested in why?

hell I've never even heard of 4 of those on your list but then again I'm perpetually behind the times lol

I'm the same way with my rand lol the analogy as to when to and not to listen to your woman is a good one.
it doesn't take long to learn when to just tell her to shut up and hit the mute button.

a good trip planner will always be smarter than one of those toys.

My DEZL helps me not be alone on the road trip.
Set it to a women voice and imagine it's your wife next to you. So you can talk back any words you want
