    Hey,
I am a truck owner and I am looking for a tracking device to put on my truck, so I know where it is at all times.
I want to be able to track it live if possible from my smart phone (iphone 5).
Any recommendations for good and inexpensive units, would be great!
Thank You for all your input in advance

A simple Google search ("Vehicle tracking live") will yield a bevy of potential places to start. Such as http://www.liveviewgps.com/vehicle+tracking.html

it would just be a matter of finding one that has an Apple smart phone app, of which I'm sure they're plenty

$29.95 / month. No equipment cost. Track with anything that has a web browser on it.

All you need to do is purchase a prepaid cell phone and put a GPS tracking program on it and have it hard wired inside the truck to keep charge constantly and send you the GPS coordinates of the phone at intervals that you specify and that data will be sent directly to your phone at all times 24 hours a day

    Simple Apple fix...

Upgrade your 5S (or older iPhone) then put the 5S in the truck and leave the phone on your account. Basically you are using two cell phones... And it's like what $10-$15 for an additional phone on an existing package.

Then just use "Find My Friends" app anytime you want to locate the truck.... No third party players to pay, other than the phone line.

    Just a thought.
