On a DAC report I got a year or so ago, the way it is worded, it does appear that there was either an accident or incident, when i fact, NONE!
We are entitled to get a free copy of our report, once each year. and by doing so, we can keep track of those former employers, and any misinformation that could have been put there, by mistake. We can even get more free copies, IF we are denied a job, due to a bad DAC report, and it stated why we were turned down.superflow Thanks this. -
....not sure haven't had one since 04 or anything else on my mvr , 0 points on my csa -
I got fired by load one , for dispatching myself was the answer i got , when really it was a mis communication , it's an old event but im gonna make em dig this up and disputes it &see if the company wants to round & round on or let it go , i think if im a pain in the neck about it as polite as possible , pull the ole " dumb as a fox" treatment on them

When i pull a drivers MVR there are only a few states that ask if you want a 3 year or 5 year. Most go back to when the license was issued. When i pull a DAC employment history it goes back to the earliest company that reported a termination. After 7 years(from termination) it only shows the company name and dates worked.

With csa scores on companies & drivers ,i wonder what it would take to have DOT make the companies put alittle more info in along with their csa score things like driver turn over rates would be great insight ....the point is if we (the drivers) could
See the companies for who they really are we could starve them out of exsistance & help clean up the industry ,i guess our best bet would to run this by a truckin organization that has connections with the higher ups in DOT -

The company themselves could give out the info after 7 years but you are only required(by FMCSA) to keep the DQ file for 3 years after termination.
