Crude oil is $86 today.... beginning of the end?

    After all said and done... it will only create about 200 jobs. a lot of land will be taken just for 200 jobs. We dont need the keystone Pipeline, it would have been a great idea 8yrs ago.

    Sign of the times ????
    Basic Energy which has a virtual monopoly on brine sales in the Permian Basin is refusing sales to the mom and pop haulers. The only companies they're selling to are themselves, Key Energy, and Nabors. The good news is I no longer have a problem locating brine.

    have a friend who hauls crude here, they cut his hours/loads...said they dont have the work...

    I don't worry about the price, that's not my problem. I do worry about the weight. That's why I like the Basic station on 1270 ..... every time we weigh it it's exactly 10 pounds

    hubby talked to said friend....they have put a freeze on hiring and went from 6-8 loads a day now he is getting 4...

    I don't get what pickles have to do with the price of oil? :toothy7:

    Tar Sands Goo transport? I worry more about fracing raising the price of restocking the sand box out back (that "T" on your CDL, it really stands for Tonka).
