Running With Schneider - 2 (As IC Choice for more than a year now!)

Yo! Whats up! Yeah .. been a stranger here lately but always come back around eventually.. lol

 

It has been awesome kicking back here at home for the last few days. 70-plus degrees and sunshine the entire time!! We went on down to my previous hood in Huntington Beach CA. While we were hanging out at the Pier I notice a lot of container ships sitting out in the waters .. Seemed a little odd but nothing too...unusual. They usually are waiting to get unloaded at the Long Beach Harbor but seem like a lot of ships out there, more than normal.

Anyway, after a short stay in HB we went on down to Camp Pendleton CA to visit my brother in-law. His wife's brother works as a longshoreman at the harbor and she said the union is having issues (in short) and not working so all this freight is just sitting out there for last week or so waiting to get in... Talk about detention pay, ha! For a while they were only using one shift to unload. Yesterday they stopped completely...eeekk! Load board in Southern Cal was looking a little light and that probably explains it. Will be interesting to see if things break loose a bit when they resolve those union issues.

None-the-less It's time to get the truck rolling! Booked out 5 loads ..decent pay, running out to AZ, back, then up Cali north a little and then out to Texas.. Took me several hours, nearly most of the day yesterday to finally pick my loads.. geeesh..

 

Sometimes my truck gets better treatment than I do! LOL

High Pressure multi directional shower followed with a massage from beautiful woman! That's the Life!

Ka Ching Ka Ching! Oh yeah! I'm loaded! uhmm.. Not really!...but my truck is most of the time.. ha!
