Can anyone tell me how long Stevens keeps trucks ? Just wonderin how likely I am to get a really crappy truck after going solo. I just hope it runs good, dont really care how old it is. But if its breaking all the time ???? I dont abuse stuff so I know Ill take care of it anyway.

Well i had to stop watching him, so im not sure. The guy just couldnt keep a job ? He also complained alot at the end so I just unsubscribed. At first he would be all hyped up an then it was all down hill. Thats Life just gotta deal with it. But I wish him luck. And yea I think the same everytime I see Stevens...

They start selling off trucks at around 400,000 miles or so. Most truck are ok some in the grad fleet are ready for sale. Not sure how many miles mine has on it(computer reset), but rumor is it is ready for sale. Other than a few annoyances it runs pretty good. Nothing like the training trucks out there they are leaps above them.

Night Prowler Thanks this. -
I left the yard on Dumb and Dumber in a T2000 that had 471k miles on it. Drove it for 9 months, turned it in at 578k... They issued it to another D&D team. It only had two major issues, alternator crapped out, 4 Hts at a KW shop in Salina KS, then the Turbo and DPF crapped at the same time. Day and a half at Cummins in Newark NJ.
It ran strong for the most part. Almost hated to give it up.Night Prowler Thanks this. -
I think the only trucks to have over 450k are old alliance trucks and the regional vovlos which are over 500k and of course to training trucks.

Mine had been a lease turn in, took forever to get it cleared and off the yard, lots of issues with it, but once it was rolling it was very reliable. Didn't have to worry about DEF either, it was a 2010. Every time I can back to the yard I thought they were going to take it, but they sent me out in it again.
I did a repower with the guy who got it after I did, he said it was over 600k before they took it from him. Good Truck.Night Prowler Thanks this. -
