i think i made a mistake

This is very true. The bigger companies will just lay their guys off and cap their wells. The smaller land holders will sell everything they can to the larger companies to recoup their losses. The larger companies will be able to consolidate their hold in the oil territories and dictate lower wages. Party is over, but the smart ones saw the writing on the walls some months ago.

 

Glad I am in my 40's and a bit wiser. If I were in my 20's i would have went there and pretty sure my pay checks would have went to the bars and women. Maybe I would have made so much money I would have saved some but I doubt it. I am sure I would of had some fun times.

The news was out WAY before Friday, for weeks that I know of...

 

We have kept two hoppers in Kosse Texas for a year now hauling frac sand to a rail yard in Barnhart. They sent the trucks home Friday.

 

the way things are looking right now i would advise not to be jumping into a oil and gas field. even though iv moved out of working directly with oil production things have be a little worried about what this year is going to bring as oil is a big driving factor in our economy.

 

When the gas boom in Arkansas busted it slowed everything way down even the things not tied to it. Things were just turning around for us so I'm definitely worried bout this myself
