Yes... that was one of the accidents among soooo many others due to the black ice today... I can see New Jersey Turnpike from my truck here... the ground is very slippery... even walking to the building...
Planning on leaving at 6:30 am but only if the roads are ok... Good thing customer is only a few miles from here...

just got to my receiver in South Plainfield New Jersey. Luckily I can park here for the night. I spent the night in Ohio last night on the Turnpike. Was up early, driving and missed all the bad weather. Glad I didn't go 76/78 and decided to stay on 80.
just a lot of rain today. Didn't see any ice. Heavy traffic though.
I'm lucky to be reloading right where I'm dropping off. Then I'm headed to Atlanta, yuck. wonder what I did wrong to get stuck in Jersey aand Atlanta in the same week!!! One good thing is I'll probably be able to spend the night at home. It's a little more than halfway....and I got to take a break anyway!!!!
will be rolling out a recap this week but got great hours coming back...... burning up the road!!!!
    Lol

holy crap. Was just watching the news and there were so many accidents in the New Jersey Philadelphia New York area. I can't believe I didn't even see any. New Jersey alone had almost 500 accidents!
I stopped in Pennsylvania to get a wheel hub gasket changed..... that must delayed me enough to miss all the mess. Even though it only took 45 minutes. As it's happened before, good timing and good luck are always welcome!

Yep... lots and lots of accidents... the radio stations were advising folks not to go out if possible... I am soooo glad didn't have to go anywhere around here... Stayed in my cozy shell all day... went outside only twice for less then 15 mins... had to be careful not to fall on the ground... darn... it was slippery... But temp has warmed up some and I think it will be ok tomorrow... :biggrin_25519:

With 29 minutes left on the tickity we pulled the brakes on this big rigity.
I was thinking something was wrong with my clock. It kept saying I had more hours to Rock.

So let's see Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana we put in our back pocket today. The k Dubya purring like a kitten. Was nice and clear till Utica, Il. Mostly cloudy the rest of the way. Started to sprinkle when we hit Toledo. Shut her down at service plaza after Toledo and still a bunch of solar powered spots open.

660 miles rocked 8.4 mpg. Super truckin at its best. We back quiet.

Can we get an admin to have a talk with cranky about bragging how he seen the Rockness with her long flowing hair. If you need help just hit him with the trying to insight anger and jealousy among the members. We don't play that on ttr. When I become America's next top forum staff associate. This kind of tom foolery will cease.

The southeast heading to Atlanta is supposed to be sunny and warm for the next few days!
Bumped 60 degrees here in Charlotte today.

How do you like that model Pete? I will either get one of those or a T660 this week.
Just wondering how the sleeper layout is for the TV shelf and storage.
