Agreed. I got one for Christmas & it is great! Only thing is it is quite a bit thicker than the usual mattress -- noticed it the first time I sat up & bonked my head on the upper bunk that used to clear...

I'm late to go to bed again... didn't have time to read all the comments since last night... but will post this...
Delivered load at this muddy lot...

Docking area was covered with water with a layer of ice on top...

Then, was reloaded at this other muddy lot...

Heading to Denver, CO.... at least next customer will not have any mud... hopefully... maybe snow and ice... who knows... :biggrin_2552:

Pulling the knobs laaate, or is it early???? I dunno, dispatch got a load on me from Bastrop, LA to Altus, OK....with no possible way to be on time, how nice of them. Only made it out to the Loves in Greenwood, LA before the eyes got heavy, thanks to a 4 hour deadhead and longer than expected load time, will knock the remaining 400 miles out tomorrow, get there when I get there I guess...stupid planners

    Dinomite and TruckDuo Thank this.

Hrm. There's a Loves off exit 283, and 3 other places 10 miles north of that off exit 296.

I do not suggest trying the pilot off 285...

If the suggested ones don't work for you, then head south to exit 201. There's another cluster of ts there.

I just realized when that was posted. Hopefully you found another place! And you just missed me...

Parked at the JCP lot, browsing the forums waiting for my favorite place to eat when I'm home opens up. Greek food is awesome!

  9. Thank you. On suggestions, not my playground area usually. I tried searching the forum for any info on the area and parking.

When I got to the Petro. They were 3_deep anyplace you looked.
I did a curb parking( very risky) security told me go grab one of the fuel island s pull past pump. Said "I can give ya till 5am then ya have to move"

So long story short, slept briefly, moved at 5am found a row spot open slept a few hrs more.

I appreciate the info. Next time I hit north Atlanta, I'll check those spots.
(Called loves and pilot up 75 both packed at 10:30pm local)

let me guess..no parking but that didn't stop them from charging you I bet. Luckily I have a yard I can park at so I'm generally no help for secret spots....but generally the stops north of that Loves in Emerson and south along 75 that were suggested have parking

At my pickup in Orange, TX. Driver here is trying to refuse a load due to weight. His scale ticket reads

    12120
    33980
    33900

Shipper is refusing to take product off. Tried to explain to him he's legal but he's hearing nothing of it. He's one of those guys who has been told you can't have over 12K on the steers, never mind the fact he'll burn the weight off in 100 miles.

I just walked away muttering to myself.
