No that was it. He told me it was a night and he saw three doughs crossng the interstate toward the shoulder and he said he hit the last one but was no evidence on the truck and said they didn't see any dead dear on the road. I questioned him several times.
I am trying to make a point about there are good trainers and bad. That the responsibility is for them to train the new drivers properly before letting them go out on there own.
Terminated for accidents - What can I do to fix this?

What you did was blame the trainers for what happened, you need to take responsibility. With that said I do wish you luck and successs with this next company and do not finish up your training until you are 100% ready to be turned loose. If you feel you're not getting trained safely and properly, you go to your company.

I too have hit deer(s) (I know the plural of deer is still deer), and I can assure you that there is always "some evidence" of a deer strike, well at least my 2 times. First time, I was pulling out of a store/deli parking lot, and onto the road A traffic light was all of about 100 yards away, so I hadn't even gotten past say about 30 mph, before I had to come to a stop. I hit a deer crossing the street, yeah, street not road, The deer ran away, as it was only tagged. But it pushed in my front plastic bumper, which pulled back out with no problem. However, the 'middle section" of that bumper? was dented in. Our truck had a 3 section front bumpers that many a Macks did. I still had to report that.
My second deer strike was with my current employer. I was on the highway doing 68 MPH when my truck was able to do this, before they castrated all of them. I hit a buck, a HUGE BUCK, sent him into the next year! My truck? I actually got to drive it all the way back to my location, then take it over to Penske.
Damages? Well 2 months and $5,000 later, is how much damage I had. Front bumper, fog light, inner fender, quarter fender, passenger side lower AND upper steps, quarter mud flap at the right rear drive.
Me? I wrote it up, company said, oh well crap happens, got another rental, went back to work the next night.
Some company's "may charge" a driver with a preventable, IF a deer strike happens with-in the warning range of posted signs, other companies just have a safety meeting (we actually did, as a few of us had deer strikes that time) and was told this happens, do not swerve, just hit the stupid Richard Cranium animals, head on, and brace yourself for a ride Disney Land does not have!Big Don and Tonythetruckerdude Thank this.
