Took about 2 weeks for me. But it varies by DC, and also depends on how many other drivers they are processing. Don't worry, if there is a problem they will let you know, they won't just blow you off and leave you guessing, they will let you know what the problem is, were that to be the case. Just be patient, chances are if you haven't heard anything negative by now, it's looking good. It's not a science, but everyone I know who didn't make it, was notified very quickly.

Andrew, consider yourself blessed to have had not one, but two opportunities to come work for the Private Fleet. Only a few applicants per hundred applications ever make it in the door. You will step out of the darkness and into the light once you start here. The only thing that could prevent you from being hired is if the incident at your current job resulted in any criminal charges brought against you. It does not sound like that was the case.

Hey Jim, just curious, but have you seen the movie American Sniper yet? If not, I thought it was great. Being a veteran as well I bet you would like it too.

Not yet Tom, but it's definitely on my must-do list. My son wants to see it too so I'm waiting for my days off to rotate around to a weekend with him being in school. Can't wait to see it!

I will tell you that Buckeye is not the fastest. They do not hire very often, so they are a bit "rusty" when it comes to orientation. Everything is a lot faster now, than when my husband got hired over 2 years ago. Word is a bunch have just retired, and a bunch more are retiring, so it is a good time to get on. Plus, new trucks are arriving frequently.

Just be patient and it will all work out. As my husband told me, when I was sweating it 2.5 years ago...................... "it is our turn." A lot of folks come from out of state, to start orientation at Buckeye, so it does take a bit more time to coordinate everything. I am sure everything will be fine, and you will get your orientation date soon.

Say hi to Rick when you see him. He will be in the flashy Ruby Red Explorer Sport, or our F250 CrewCab 4x4. He will answer any questions you have, as he is very personable and really remembers how nice the drivers were to him, when he started. :)

Jim and Tom, we both want to see American Sniper as it is supposed to be a fantastic movie. If you see it before us, don't ruin it for us. LOL

I saw it this week. I will not spoil it for you or others. There is something specific to the movie I was involved in. I will discuss that at a later date after you have seen the movie. :)

Duane is a great guy. I met him when we went to the truck driving championships. The manager that you drove with is Safety Steve. He is also a great guy and is very good at his job. Just wait until you meet Bill (the GTM). He is one of the reasons that Buckeye is such a desirable DC to work out of.

Let us know when you get your orientation date. :)
