Well, well well.... always read those dates on the load offer... I don't reload till TOMORROW! Lol.... Glad I called to see if I could get loaded early.... turns out I cant. Ill take the day off and the $75 lay over pay...doesnt change much except 2 days to drive 15 hrs instead of 3.... still home by Thursday.....

Hey Rocks, there is a service area in Pa at the intersection of 78 and 476 that has a couple hundred truck spots, good food choices and clean bathrooms.... Its about 70 miles to Edison, NJ... only downside is if you enter the service area going southbound you have to reenter highway going southbound. But its a easy turnaround at the next exit, but is 11 miles and a toll rd... so not ideal, but free, relatively close and always a spot... My company has ezpass so the toll is no big deal... just take 476 south off of 80 and just past the 78 interchange is the services area. Pass the service area, go to next exit, turn left after the toll booths and then the first right it will take you back onto the 476, go north to the service area...then when you head to Jersey just take 78 east to 287 south to Edison. I did this just a couple weeks ago....
Where are you delivering in Edison?
There is also a truck rest area on 287 just after Morristown. Its on the northbound side though. Tight spots and no bathrooms. Also some shady men looking for other men...lol probably 25 miles to Edison. I honestly wouldn't recommend but in a emergency or as a last resort.... I've parked there to visit my family in Morristown. Its always had the reputation as a 'pickle park'... even when I was a kid. Lol and I was approached by a very freindly fellow there last time I was there.... just being honest... but in a pinch, its a parking spot.....
Check out an app called trucker path. That thin g is a life saver sometimes. Has all the truck stops, rest areas, walmarts, scales, weigh stations all on a map....
