I never go to terminals anymore....
Of course, I really dont want too.
SLC will find a reason to red flag my truck and keep it there for days.
Atlanta, well...just dont like it there.
And really I dont want my truck turned down, so I will stay away.

JJ was routed to the terminal in GA yesterday and yep they turned down the truck, but we knew it was coming (still sucks) and your right SLC do red flag the trucks all the time and keep you waiting around, we have been lucky there so far they have red flagged the truck but we have almost always had a pre-set or been under a load so the work was done pretty quickly.

Do the trucks at CR come with an inverter or APU? If no inverter can the driver install one??
-
No APU. We have a power inverter, which we will have installed in the new truck next week, so we can run a Microwave, Toaster, Coffer maker and toasted sandwich maker.

Looks like getting our new Truck will be postponed for a few weeks until the new Pete's arrive at Salt Lake. Most likely it will be a red one but still
hoping a black one will show up. I can't wait to get out from under this Problem Child Volvo. I think its cursed. Sorry to hear you have to wait on that new trucks but a few more days in the problem child and your appreciation will grow.
Hope the truck comes in Black happiness is a good thing

The problem child really isn't so bad, she pulls good, just has a few wiring problems which I hear is pretty common in that model Volvo, she has new Batteries, new starter motor just needs a new wiring job. So who ever gets her after us shouldn't be to unhappy if they fix the wiring!
The new truck will be good more room, we can take the dogs so we can stay out as long as we want then.
John has a load from Conley GA to somewhere in Florida, so looks like a deadheading back to Conley from Shelbyville TN (WILL NOT BE DOING THAT IN LEASE TRUCK)
I have to say Central has been good on the miles, they will and do give you all that you can legally run. -

Hello Folks, I am headed to Utah tomorrow. I went to Mac CDL in Buffalo NY. I have to say that was the best training a person could ever ask for. I would reccomend that school to anyone that intends to have complete training and inspires to be a safe driver. I would like to say to Rick and Dan and and all of the trainers thank you for putting me on the right path to becoming a trucker.
I have two questions for the guys that have gone through orientation, whats with the three towels? I spent a week on the road with a friend before I started out on this journey and they give you a towel at the showers, T/A etc. That sure eats a huge chunk out of my luggage. The other is what is the address of the hotel; if I don't get a pickup on the shuttle on Memorial day evening, I am taking a cab.

I cant help you with any of your questions but I thought I'd just say good luck
.
Look for JJ or ChromeDome there full of knowledge
