    When my better half came out OTR for the year of 2012 I bought her her very own laptop and IPAD just so that I wasnt looking for something to do after I finished driving for the shift.

    Feels like I have the freaking Black Death. Took a Benadryl. Hanging out in my Fruit of the Looms watching a Cleveland Show marathon waiting for the stuff to kick in and knock me into next week.

    Meanwhile, I have completed the Paperwork Challenge of Death packet that was waiting for me at the front desk--they want a hand written application along with the W-9 and all the other assorted pre-employment carpal tunnel inducing tree killing pen draining brain twisting memory straining soul numbing FLOOD OF PAPERWORK YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO DO WHENEVER YOU GO TO A NEW CARRIER EVEN THOUGH YOU JUST DID A STACK OF THE STUFF A FEW WEEKS AGO AND YOUR WRISTS ARE JUST BEGINNING TO FUNCTION AGAIN AND YOU JUST WANT TO CRAWL UP INTO A BELL TOWER WITH A HIGH POWERED RIFLE AND...ahem, yes. Lots of paper.

    In other news, I'm switching to decaf.

    Film at eleven.

    Where's my sledge hammer?

    Ain't no grand kids. And our daughter is in her second year of college and it's impossible to get her to answer her phone or even check her email. (When she needs something she finds a way to contact us though)

    Black death, thought mine was allergies too. Seems there is this

    mysterious illness going around that hits you then leaves and

    returns a few weeks later. Just enough to piss you off but not bad

    enough to see the medicine man. Definetly a repeat offender for

    sure, hope yours isn't that strain.
