You got it, Jaso! It's the Hershey DC right by the J. Easy drop and hook AND they gave me two candy bars when I got to the guard shack. Picked up a newer trailer than the one I left and camping out at the blue beacon to get a washout. It's a mess right now. Then will shut down in East St Louis at the Pilot. Can't get my load at AB until after midnight but it's a short run up to Waterloo which will get me up near the meathouses.

BTW Pete, Oak Grove Petro started that project a couple months ago. Been tearing everything up for a while now.

Today was a good day overall. Easy drop and hook and next load is a beer run to Waterloo that is a feeder for my next trip to Louisiana. Secured my first referral today too. Talked to a driver in the Pilot and our conversation sealed the deal for him as far as coming on. My recruiter contacted me to let me know and confirm it was me he had talked to. I wasn't selling it up for the referral at all, but it will still get me $1500 and an iPad air. Sweet! We had one couple last year who made $40k in just referrals!

 

So I'm a new driver. Anyone know anything about Burris logistics in rocky hill, ct. Will they take load a few hours early? Can u park there?

 

Dropped my load at Tension Envelopes in downtown KC and deadheaded to the Olathe yard. Bumping my 70 and 14. Will stay here for the night. Might bobtail for dinner. Hopefully grab a load off the yard headed to Virginia or the Carolinas. Gotta be home for Sunday. Saturday, even better.

 

Welcome to the thread, cedar key trucker. It has been a long time since the King went to Burris, but if I remember right they would not take a load early and they had no parking available..... Has anyone else been there more recently?

 

In Waynesville, Nc. @Pilot. Got lucky getting a spot. First night away is always the hardest. Of course nothing is easy here but at least this run is better than the one that was rescheduled on my way to Englewood. Due Monday. I should be able to watch the Patriots cheat, I mean the Superbowl

 

Try giving them a call cedar key trucker. I looked and one driver said that even though they had no driver parking that they would take you early.
