Hello everyone,
Just wanted to say hello since I am new on this forum. I have been looking for different companies to work for and haven't quite decided where I want to go next. I have read good and bad of all these but I really need some extra help since there is no magic lamp anywhere to be found.
Here is my list:
Freymiller
Navajo
Schneider
US Xpress
JCT
I have been driving for a few years and just looking to move up in the trucking industry. My wife is also a driver and we drive team. Any input let me know. If you don't like these companies let me know too and why. I am not set on any of these and I have gone through the forum already but since I want to finish making my decision this week I want some fresh reviews. I have researched over 25 companies this past month alone and well my vision is getting foggy. If you have any recommendations I would love to hear about them. Glad to have joined this forum, once we get rolling I will make a post just keeping you all up to date on how that company treats us. I was once told by a very savvy driver that every company is 70% good and 30% bad. I am looking to see what 30% I can live with. I look forward to your responses, thank you for your time.
Heads or tails...

Cowan is in Baltimore, all the LTL's are always looking for line haul, like UPS Freight, Fed Ex Freight, OLd Domion, Pitt Ohio and ECM, Estes, Wilson, New Penn, and that is just the van companies. Go tanker and you can choose from Superior or Dana with terminals in Baltimore, and if you don't mind having to sleep in your own bed every night you always have the fuel haulers. If you don't mind flatbed and hauling equipment the rental companies can be nice to work for too. Edgewater isn't too bad a ride to Baltimore. Just some thoughts from another MD guy. You have a ton of choices, you just need to decide how often you want to be home. I do know United Rentals was looking for a driver in Annapolis.

There's a husband/wife team that posts on here, driving for R&L Carriers and they each make $70K per year.
