I've been calling the recruiter for a couple of months now every time I see them advertising around the tampa, florida area. However, every time I call and inquire, he tells me that they're not hiring in that area. Does anyone know why they would be making ads for over 2 months on and off now looking to employ drivers if they're really not?

Why don't you go to the company website and find out when they are holding a recruiting event in your area and you can get your question answered face to face. Just a thought.

Ethos drives for Trimac. Schneider is one of those companies with high turnover so I doubt he would have call back problems with them. My guess is he is trying to contact Trimac. -
It IS Trimac I'm talking about. And I AM a newbie driver, but more so when I created the screen name. I had 11 months experience around that time. Now, by the end of february, I'm going on 16 months experience(still with another company currently). The ads I had been seeing by trimac for the past couple months ask for 1 year's experience. Never heard of them holding any recruiting events either.

No problem at all. Sorry for the confusion. -
Ethos: what are the benefits like and what do you pay for medical (seriously considering answering the Hayward ad they have up on Craigslist or the Martinez one)
