Ip why waste the time? These guys that bash a lease deal are the same guys you here at a Iron skillet telling the "I told dot to #### off"
it's a waste of time, no matter what you say, these guys are always right...in there minds anyway.
If people want to lease purchase then good for them, and if they can make it work and be happy then that's all that counts. Nomatter how many times this is said these loser super truckers have to throw in there worthless penny. I have a friend that has completed and owns a 2011 Pete from leasing at prime and he does well. And he's happy.
Prime's lease deal. The math gets done.

Of course if that were so, I certainly wouldn't let you buy me a coffee, if I owed you lunch friend, let's just say I'm a doubting Thomas for a very good reasons and that's only based on" track record " mind you, not that I'm sold out or anything, this has nothing personal to do with you at all... I am the first one to encourage anyone's success just as I am the first one to stand in the way wickedness 😎🏁🏁🏁 -

Brother ironpony... "get em son" 😎👍🏁🏁🏁 -
So why is it when the company guys decide to tear down the way someone else lives... its so we who choose to live our lives differently have to be just like them? I can't possibly imagine being a wage-slave again in my life. Why is it that doing something that gives me a lot of satisfaction- running my own business, is such a "headache" as to be avoided? If I do this well (and I do) the reward is both intangible and monetary. I don't live from paycheck to paycheck any longer, I have money in the bank, and I enjoy life. I have no desire to be you.

I applaud IP for taking the time to go toe to toe with certain types when it comes to debating things they have no experience with.
I wouldn't bother doing it because in the end it's not going to change minds which have already been made.
Prime's lease deal doesn't seem too bad when compared to what some other companies put on the table. Looks like it would be nice to not be chasing miles each week. Still doesn't change the fact that someone who wants to take a go at it needs to have their head screwed on straight.
When I drove OTR my trainer was a lease/op who had to chase miles. Boy howdy, did he chase miles at .87cpm+FSC. Amazed me that he'd lasted as long leasing as he had (likely because he was training...). The guy had zero business sense... spent his money like a drunken sailor in Thailand, and was telling me that he was somewhere in the neighborhood of $10,000 behind on his taxes. Saw him take a bunch of pay advances and I think one week his settlement was close to nil.
Pretty much the poster child of someone who should not have been leasing... The type of driver who IP tries hard to dissuade from even thinking about putting pen to the dotted line of a lease contract... -
I guess you don't recognize encouragement, how about this: "way to go" "thatta boy" "keep on trucking" "git error done" ..... Dang man, now do you get it? .... I'm happy, you're happy everyone's a winner, like you said " lease deals" are not for everyone, you should be proud of yourself because alot of drivers have been sucked in & then burnt on lease deals, right?.... But not you so you that's a good thing, have at it brother, it's all yours and it doesn't matter much to anyone else
....no big deal bro, you paid a truck off, I paid a house off, it's just two different lifestyles that's all, just trying to encourage you 😎🏁🏁 -
And those who are in between.... It all depends on what the driver wants to do, that's the beauty of it
....yeah there's " no way" I would ever want to lease a truck from prime or any other OTR outfit, but it works for guys like ironpony...... No biggie 😎👍Last edited: Feb 13, 2015

Your life is so wonderful, yet you spend your free time here arguing with others. Lol
