I am more than a little nervous about that, but judging by what Robert and the other trainers in class said, it isn't the new guys you have to worry about, it's the guys who have been driving a van for years and bring a bunch of bad habits.

Have you been able to complete the storage cabinet for your Mack, RD? Would love to see some pictures of it and know how you mounted it! Thanks!
-
Yea RD post pics of yours. Had to take my dog to the kennel yesterday so maybe when I get it out I can put my shelf in. Don't throw those measurements away though I was gonna call you to get them from ya

I have not made any cabinets yet. I kind of have a small beef with buying material and making cabinets for a truck that should have came with them from the start. So still up in the air on that one. I run dedicated so I don't need a whole bunch of stuff in my truck anyway. But what I do carry is still a pain to try and fit everywhere.
Talk about bad luck. I am supposed to pick up a load going to Bowling Green KY at 3am Monday. There is suppose to be a winter storm moving through so not sure what I am going to do about that. Then once I get back from that I have to pick up a dedicated load going to Boston Mass. I saw where a storm is moving across there and suppose to dump a bunch of snow up that way.
Not sure how much driving I will get done. May be doing some sitting if the roads are bad.Twicebit Thanks this. -
I just came back from Boston. Got there a day after the last storm, and the roads were fine, just a little narrower than usual. They know how to clear snow efficiently up there.

I left Winder at 2:30 this AM and didn't make it to Nashville. Started slipping and sliding and parked it at the love's on 24 at exit 89. I'll leave the ice skating to the supertruckers.

where are you headed to?
-
Regina, SK. Hopefully the roads will be cleared this evening or tomorrow morning at the latest.

I thought you were the one. You rescued our driver. When I went I slept at the cenex in kenmare,nd so I could use my phone. You have to weigh in kg's at the husky truck stop up there so you can sleep there if you want in regina. Make sure you fuel at Pilot in minot,nd it's the last fuel stop till the flying j in regina. Also call ahead to consignee for gate code and it's the 3rd driveway at consignee. Pull in goto right go all the way till you have to turn left that's the tank office. They will unload you so you don't have to worry about that. Then you have to go back to husky to weigh. They will fax empty weight back and charge Bayer for that but you have to pay for both weight tickets. Then you have to back tr ack to fuel at the flying j back down the street from consignee. I made it back to minot pilot to take my 10 after delivery there is one other small truck stop about 30 mins after that but I wanted a shower. I told him to give you my number so I could tell you that lol because he was asking me where I stayed to tell you
