too bad nobody really cares about this thread, nor does anyone comment on it, but i've been on elogs for 2 days so far and they've only been a headache. not updating like they should, the system is messed up that i've been doing driving on lines 1 2 and 4, its not logging itself on line 3 like its soppose to. it keeps erroring out and telling me "keep paper logs" so all this driving time I have turns into line 4 time. and despite the fact I drove for 3 hours yesterday (because I had to physically tell it I was) I moved a total of 0 miles

you can say "bad weather" but i've been using ELDs (even though I like EOBR's better) and i've never had this problem before. i've had sensor issues but thats it

I'm hired on if I want to go. Idk I'll re-read through this thread and ultimately decide but it's really killing me how far indian river has fallen off since the beginning when I was really interested. The way she sounded on the phone sounds like they need drivers so idk what you guys are saying is probably right. I shouldn't even go lol

    I've heard 2 different things

    1) rumor has it that they bought 200 more trucks so they need 200 more drivers

    2) people are leaving for assorted reasons, the biggest being E-logs (which is a BS reason to quit) so they are trying to re-seat the empty trucks

I bet it's a little bit of both. I mean are you guys getting miles or what? I saw a guy at coca cola today in Waco, tx wanted to talk to him but he went somewhere else to unload or load up. All I know is, if I ultimately decide to go there I hope I get a 579 lol

I also think that has something to do with turnover

they promise a peterbilt but put you in an International.

which is a slap in the face

personally I don't want to drive a pete so it doesn't affect me all that much but I see why people are angry

A reboot of the qualcomm should fix the issue. I had same problem over the weekend.

So basically, everyone left because of miles hard to get on e logs. No miles and long waits at certain customers that dwindles down your pay each week. Average pay 5-600$ a week after taxes? Does that sound about right?

This is the slow season. Waiting a day between loads and layovers on weekends. It doesn't have anything to do with e logs.

Pair that with extreme wait times loading/unloading. Sometimes you may load/unload in an hour, or it could be 24 hrs or longer. You never know.

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of any trucking outfit domiciled in the state of Florida. We are known for the sorriest wages in the industry. You have much better options in MA.

interesting, because according to everyone else the sorriest wages are Swift and England, neither of which are in Florida
