wages might be crap for trucking (allegedly) but most people in the civilan world also have had to take pay cuts and everything so this isnt' a trucking problem

I am still on the belief that wages wont' go up any time soon so there is nothing I can do about it

So what would these wages be that you speak of jabber?

i see that but right now I need a back up plan if this company doesn't come through. Superior non responsive, QC said in April they would hire me due to a 15 over warning on an inspection. Dana is like owner operator. Maybe at this point taking a bottom feeder might be the only way to show I can pull a tank. Cause it seems that one thing is hurting me right now and it's a year old in April.

Not sure what you mean Jabber. I can get on with Swift tomorrow and receive a 10 cpm raise from what I am paid at Bynum.

What I was trying to tell RogerThat is FLORIDA trucking companies do not pay well when compaired to all other trucking companies in the USA.

Oakley pays 41CPM (I believe) thats much more than most companies. why not give them a call? or just stay at IRT

if you want to pull a tank have you talked to Schneider? I think they just recently gave their bulk division a raise. its $25 or $50 if you have to load/unload. I don't know about detention since i've voiced my opinion on detention several times

I always took home between $1,000 and $1,250 after taxes every Monday when I was at IRT. But I never refused pre plans, complained about my truck or requested to be sent anywhere special. I just did what they gave me to do and showed appreciation. I made things work out on my log and was only late once or twice on appointments. They kept me hooked up.

    bubzokrex Thanks this.

I tried to quote but it didn't work. That last post was to the one asking what an average check was.

That's when they had paper? What about when you switched to e-logs?
