Had some snow coming outa Tularosa NM but mostly clear from Vaughn on through.
I miss read my 8 day so I get to take a 34 hour time out here. Scary thing is myself, load planner, and dispatcher all missed the recap timing thing..... -
Got up around 7 central unloaded then 1.75 hrs south 65 miles reloaded Chicago Heights pull into fuel station 1/2 mile from yard with 1min left before my 8.
Got some of the best chicken strips around.
Quick stop at yard dropped trailer in Bedford then went home. Don't deliver the load till 830 so sleep in and at the housePartly makes up for not seeing the house this weekend.
When will these cars learn not to wait till the last second to get in the lane they need or not to shoot out before solid lines end?
65 miles between drop and reload 2 wrecks east bound and one westbound. I hate that East 94 South 57 split cars and trucks run hammer lane till the last 500 ft all the time causing all kinds of trouble. -
I am and have always been a gamer. I don't play the shooters simply because I suck at them and can never practice ( always driving ). I enjoy the Dungeons & Dragons genre. Years ago (late '90's) I used to play an online game called Everquest. I created a Barbarian warrior. During the course of leveling said character, the programmers decided that once you achieved level 20 ( 50 was max at the time) you could give your character a last name. Many hours was spent coming up with a last name befitting of this Barbarian warrior named

Well what a waste of a day went to unload around 830 got out a 11 but was dispatched on aload 20 miles away that dont pick up till after 5pm but needs to be in Chicago at 415am so back home after just a couple hrs. for another 12 hr break
