I've heard they are a decent place to get started in your career , one thing you must remember though , attitude is a truck drivers best friend , or can be his worst enemy. Not just with other drives/dispatchers/or other trucking company folks........ but with the folks you'll come into contact with while driving , by that I mean folks in cars/on motorcycles/in campers/and yes even other truckers , they can and will cause you lots and lots and lots ....did I dare say LOTS of stress. You must always keep a cool/calm mind-set , and not let them get under your skin....
Also the folks you'll be delivering to/picking-up from , they can and will be a drain on your patience....dock foreman that don't care if you've got another load lined - up , a secretary that could care less if your bills aren't signed correctly , shippers that don't have a clue ( and don't care ) as to how far you have to go by 6:00am tomorrow....it's coming.....be mentally prepared for it.
My hope is that you'll listen and heed all of the great advice several of the posters have given you here.....but please , please , remember this advice.....that attitude can / and will do 1 of 2 things , either make you a safe , productive , and happy/satisfied driver....or a completely miserable one. I prefer to see you as the former not the latter.
Joe knows how I feel about your felony....But , I'll keep those feelings out of this , simply because you've seemed to show that you want to be a successful driver...the entire reason I decided to post on this thread.....Attitude.....is that important....it really is.......... I only wish you success and Good Luck ! TTTD.....GoneButNotForgotten, Old - School and carolinaboi28352 Thank this. -

Me personally I would never drive for them again because of the cameras. I value my privacy too much. You were asking for info about Millis but if I ever went back to driving a big truck I believe I would go with Schneider and get enough experience to qualify for their I C Choice program. Thats just me.carolinaboi28352 Thanks this. -
