I'm a past driver from Equity and I would stay clear if possible. The office/ dispatch are nasty to drivers very uncaring of a persons needs in a emergency. One guy with five years in had a heart attack and his girlfriend had to clean his trk out the next day they needed it they said. Equipment is horrible newest trks are 06/07 and I would go well over 100 k without a PM. Good luck.

 

Happens to be, march 2014 implemented a new general manager, and has been very good at cleaning out the do nothings and buttheads . Changes for the better. A past driver won't know the current picture, only a jaded view.

True, they run pre em mission glider trucks. 07 is the newest model. No DEF or emission standards.
They have contracts with many companies that will keep you moving well enough, but it does matter where you live in the country.

 

i recently quit driving for equity. i made practically nothing working for them. in 7 checks i netted 2600. their equipment is old and rundown. needs to be replaced but they never do. when i did get a decent amount of miles they shorted my check and put it in the next week with no other miles.when i finally quit i returned the truck to their drop yard and the charged me a $500 truck recovery fee. dont work for them.

 

Sounds like the Equity I know.scum bags!
