Not to give you the big head but from what I have seen of the fishermen in the northeast they have got to be some of the grittiest stock on the planet.

I am not that tough... :biggrin_25512: if I see my own blood while I feel the pain, I most likely faint... :biggrin_25523: I once was hit by a vehicle and fainted right away... Woke up in the hospital... didn't even know my own name... :biggrin_25526: or what was what...

in 1989 my 91 foot swordfish boat coast between 40-50 thousand to rig up for a 6 week trip
the boat would only do 10mph (8.6 knots) so 200 miles offshore there were few options
had 3 fuel tanks adding up to over 20000 gal of fuel capacity eventually we blocked off the big tank and filled it with water just for ballast

Stopped at the Amherst, OH service area on the Ohio turnpike. Just helped myself to a shower and had some Burger King for dinner. Dropping in Jackson, Michigan tomorrow. My 14 ended here and didn't feel like editing myself further along. :)

Hit some ice around Hancock, MD but 68, 79 76 and now 80 have been just wet and rainy.

looks like I got out of ms just in time lol

more ice and snow and sleet coming there for tomorrow afternoon into tomorrow night the watches and warnings are already up. didn't feel like doing that all over again just a week later.

made it to the rest area on the Al/Ga line with 6 minutes left. headed back up to the home DC then see if I get a long out and back or just bounce around on bs stuff the rest of the week.

more Atlanta. in the morning this time. was really hoping I'd get through to the other side tonight but between loading and fog the clock just wouldn't stretch quite enough. I may sleep in and wait it out I've got a wide open drop window tomorrow just have to see how I feel in the morning

When I finished lunch temps were above freezing. Was wet the entire ride but as I got close to Columbus temps topped off close to 50 so it was all good. Drove to the J in Spiceland. Could have made Greenville but that Pilot is a crapshoot this time of night and I need a shower. Always parking here

For those of us who never done we can't imagine. I thought getting my 21 foot Ranger ready was expensive. 40 gallon tank, course I buy a couple new lures each trip and replace sacrificed equipment from last trip. I mostly just use the trolling motor the big motor makes my eyes waster and the wind flattens out my wrinkles. Besides I know where the good ins stay already.

Okemah Oklahoma at little loves off of 40. Got a shaker beside me with a dead miss that is my pet peeve lol. Reefers, APU's, fan clutches air dryers popping off none of that phases me a bit. Let one little Detroit miss and I can't nap lol
