What is the point of having employees at the customers? Always a few folks standing around doing jack crap. Inventory and Stock your own stuff. Most won't hold a door. Forgot this is America, Above their pay grade to do something and below their self value :biggrin_25517:

This is why I couldn't do food service, I'd leave product at the door and say press hard 3 copies and wave good bye :biggrin_2559:

Food / Beverage as I said in the past, Have my respect. I know my limits, This is one of them.

Shaggy did you see that guy at about 4 minutes in with that U-Boat stocked full of what looked like something very heavy muscle it up that curb ramp. I've done that a time or two my self at the beer company. U-Boat full of beer all the way to the top. 005.jpg

I remember a bar I had on the east side I took all the kegs down stairs and the woman said "Did you rotate our kegs as well, you know I have all the drivers rotate and stack the kegs."

It took everything I had to tell her "%&^($ have you're %&^($ lackys rotate and stack you're own $^%*#$ kegs."

If my grandfather was still alive would appreciate his demeanor and attitude, Grandparents owned 2 places, Both Places had a bar and 1 full service restaurant. The old Italian way of doing it yourself or use the hired help to do it... Non of this outsiders help( drivers ) changing kegs/cases, No delivery men through the kitchen and in food coolers ( unsanitary ). " why do i pay people, when others do it for them" would no doubt be his response lol

This is why I never attempted to work beverage / food. Doing other peoples job. No thanks.

Oh well even the warehouse people at my company have there moments. Sometimes stuff seems to be out of place kind of oddly. I know that a computer model kind of plans how the trailer is to be loaded, but it doesn't always workout that way in real life and sometimes the warehouse just throws all the stuff in.

we get a diagram of how the trailer is supposadley loaded (since you can only see the two in the tail). It's mostly fiction and opening the trailer doors is pretty much like forest gump and his chocolates (ya never know what you are going to get).

But they have this thing that looks like this "t/p" I finally asked what that means. They say it means "thrown pallet". (meaning stuff doesn't fit so it's thrown around on top of others)

I've decided it's also like teepee paper and it means ##### everywhere.

    I hate it.

The warehouse at the beer distributor I used to work for was like that, during the holidays stuff wouldn't fit you're digging digging digging stuff thrown everywhere and it's tough in a side loader, because you have no room to work and will double handle things.

I think at times each job has it's challenges GFS is harder driving, then beer, but beer at times can be harder to deliver it's tit for tat at times I think.
