The pics on Yourga's site bring back memories. But I don't think I've ever seen one of their trucks going by.
Small companies like these need their own listings on the 'Inside Scoop' page, but I don't guess enough of their drivers show up here and post. See, I've been researching the daylights out of the megas, because they're listed here and I can find info on them beyond what they have listed on their sites.
The other option is to type your zip code into google and see what companies pop up.
And here there's a good union company close enough that I could shine up my steel toed boots, drive down and put in an application in-person. And I didn't even know it was there.
Union benefits, union retirement as in a pension? Good pay? Could it be the promised land?
No, I'm not trying to start the union vs non-union debate.
Well, looks like I've got lots more studying to do.
After I fix my front brakes. They're doing the cookie monster crunch, crunch, crunch. Potholes. and they said on the news the hot asphalt plant won't open till April 1. Oh, well.
