Hrmmm, so safest thing to do is just not touch the wheel on this one. I don't need to take the chance of a massive ticket my first day out. And I don't need to make Averitt mad at me already lol.

I emailed my recruiter begging for another hotel. After waking up feeling ill, I assumed it was because of being a bit nervous about finally getting going. I went to open my window which was SOAKED with condensation. After opening the blinds I looked down and saw that the window sill was literally ENCASED in black mold. Guess that explains why I feel sick. I have slept in cleaner bus stations. I chalked up the notsonice bathroom up to it being an older building, but black mold? No. I would rather sleep in a sleeping bag on the ground at the Service Center than to sleep here again. I hope they can find me another hotel. Also the room next door to me belongs to what I suspect to be a hooker. Different guys/voices in there all the time. Several, ah, sessions.... that I've heard, followed by a shower, the sounds of payment being discussed, then someone leaving, then the shower again. I honestly wish I were exaggerating.

If that trailer does have HAZMAT, then her trainer will have to run that load since she doesn't have the endorsement yet. -
Well...
Didja hit 'em yet? -
This was a long week but I enjoyed it. We had a 3000 mile week. Now at the new hotel, econolodge, which is MUCH better than the first place. Doing decent at backing. still need alot of practice though. We're supposed to leave out EARLY monday for our next run. BTW try to avoid the exxon place in Beaumont. Place is tight as hell and a mudpit. Not friendly people there either.

Another nice week at 2800 miles. Spent most of the week running back and forth up and down in tennessee. Got to do some backroad Appalachian driving taking a detour around a massive traffic jam which was interesting. We have a load now that, unless it gets taken off, delivers Tuesday in Shertz, TX which is close to San Antonio from what I understand. Not a bad start to the week.
