No I understand. I watch Netflix on my iPhone, but I also have books and a jump rope in the truck...

Ive gone and done everything I can think of in my truck to make it more home-like.

I handmade shelves to go into the storage spaces, and added a shelf (without drilling holes) using pvc pipe and a couple other things.

The biggest improvement though? I went into Lowes and got an inexpensive but nice rug. It keeps the truck warmer and on cold mornings it's a great deal nicer on my feet.

What I did was walked into my truck with nothing but the basics, and as I drove and lived in it making a list of the things I'd like to improve. Once a month I scour the list and get creative.

I'm assuming you don't mean Comcast or directv right?

They make antennas so you can pick up local stuff. They can be used outside the truck (also sold in truck stops, but may require holes drilled into the side.), but you can also pick up an indoors antenna from your local Walmart.

This is the brand I typically see sold inside pilots...

Next on my home improvement list is getting my fridge off the floor...

seems I was wrong. Directv does offer a mobile package.

Honestly Vegan, don't look for reasons to stay inside your truck. Look for reasons to get out of it. When you drive for 11 hours, that's a good bit of time sitting.

Thats perhaps the best technical advice I can offer to any trucker.:yes2557:

Yeah I lift weights, run and stuff. So I enjoy keeping in shape. I plan on jogging when I stop driving. Pushups, sit-ups, etc. but when I'm done with that and I feel like relaxing, I would like to watch some tv. I read a lot but sometimes I like to just veg.

I'd go with an Apple TV and a tablet or MacBook attached to a 21 inch flatscreen. That way you can securely mount everything and keep your computer out of sight. Anyway when you are doing laundry and out of the truck wouldn't you like to have your computer with you?

...well if you've got luck like me... I've been stuck at a dock being loaded for 10 hours, and am right now waiting until noon tomorrow for a part to come in so my truck can be fixed.

Come to think of it... I hope you don't have my luck!

SATA is the interface from the medium to the motherboard. It is used by many sources. Standard hard drives, SSDs, optical drives, etc.

To make decent money in trucking most do not have time to use a full size computer.
