Another busy day today... I'm done with first visits to doctors and will have last exam next Monday... Next week will start collecting results and going back to doctors for follow ups... Spent some time today at notary office and bank...
Sun came out today in full force and it seems this weekend will be beautiful... Cabo Frio seems to be filling up with Argentinean tourists...



Some groups of tourists seemed to be going on boat cruising at the canal this afternoon...

On my way back to the hotel, stopped at the juice shop and got me a nice fresh juice...




Pineapple + orange + mint leaves... with no sugar... all fresh, all natural and prepared right in front of me....



Very exotic...

Feeling sleepy in bed here... Didn't sleep much last night... Will go back to dad's house tomorrow and will get busy again...

 

My load for Miami cancelled today so they put me on a Grove City, Ohio load leaving tomorrow. Have to take a loaner truck as #322 is at Volvo trying to fix the audio system. The front speakers went out, rendering my Bluetooth speaker phone useless. My dash is in pieces as they try to track down the problem.

 

Rain. Rain. Rain. Never ending rain. At least it wasn't snow lol every creek, stream and river on 40 thru Arkansas was either flooding or close to it. It rained from the time I left Tulsa till I got to Memphis. I sure hope they've got 40 patched up before I have to go thru there again that was an uncomfortable ride in spots but that last 30 is just stupid.

At at the shipper in guntown, ms loaded up and out of time. #### good thing we can park at just about all these places. Box is stuffed full of bundles of plywood I'll be short fueling all the way home and get there by 1700 tomorrow.

Back up up to leesport, pa for Monday. I'll be doing the northeast loop next week. Haven't been up there in quite a few weeks guess it's my turn.

 

I can only laugh. This load just cancelled too. 3 years here and I've havent had 2 in a row cancel on me. Only problem with it being after hours on Friday I may not be able to officially get this pulled till tomorrow which means I may no be able to book anything tomorrow. Ah well. I'm not sweating it. I somehow found parking at the Ft. Worth Pilot so I didn't have to drive to our yard in Dallas. IHOP for breakfast. Woohoo.

Truth. Not a fan of this area at all, and I bet the majority of my delays, cancellations come out of this area. Shippers here don't seem to be able to get it together.

 

So me and a good coolegue have an idea .

We had 3 people quit that do our Ohio Hatfield loads . Well they don't pay #### to go out empty , so our plan is we our willing to run cows out and then load fat hogs for the run back , so it all works out for everyone . We all make money and live happily ever after...

I hope this idea works out for us !

 

Yeah. And if I get stuck here tomorrow I can hit Cabelas or just relax in the comfy lounge chairs in McDonalds and use the free wifi to watch some Season 3 of House of Cards. This really is the only truckstop in the Dallas/Ft Worth area I like if I can find parking.
