Its suffering because people keep screwing up and they cant communicate with anybody at SNI for some reason. I've tried getting things fixed through ops but they are ineffective at times.
I guess dispatch keeps forgetting to send trucks. All the IC covered loads are probably free but the company drivers show up late or not at all and then loads get missed.
Honestly i don't even know how i can help, I'm just frustrated they are screwing up something so simple.

You're on IC choice. The program is based on system OTR trucking. If you can find your "niche" and run a pseudo/dedicated schedule take advantage of it. However, if you expect to rely on running those particular runs until the end of time I don't think that's a realistic plan. Loads and customers come and go, chances are the TSC account will ultimately bid out to another carrier eventually.

Yep, that is trucking. No matter how good a carrier treats a customer, 90% of the time the customer will eventually shop else where for a cheaper rate/contract only to come back 4-6 months later.

Im not worried about going back to running regional i was never doing OTR. Before this i was only doing 4 or 5 states. My other half and I are moving to york pa living there i'd probably run just pa, va and western nj. I wouldnt have to work to get into md I live in a great freight area i have many options TSC is the best at the moment. I just want them to get the contract renewed. I can cash in if they get past the initial short term contract. They get it renewed that would give me a year minimum to run the same customer but we will see later this year if I'll be back running my pallets for costco or not.

My understanding is they came to SNI because bowman couldnt handle the customer and the wanted a local company to take over. Which left them with SNI, JB Hunt and i think the guy said Knight.

In addition to that we are handling purina/TSC loads elsewhere too. St Joseph, MO, Massilon, OH, Statesville, NC and Camp hill. Not sure if there are any others. Scheduled to pick up a load out of Massilon on Wednesday morning actually before zig zaging out to Iowa for a 1700 mile run to Cali

I like the TSC loads...... when they're ready when they're supposed to be. I had one in statesville last week going about $100 miles down to york sc. Had a window on it from 1700 Wednesday to like 1100 thursday. Deliver any time 0800-1700 Thursday. So I get there 1700 Wednesday. I give the shipping clerk my pickup info. Shipping Clerk: "that load hasn't even started being loaded yet." Me: "any idea when it will be loaded?" Shipping Clerk: "we dont have to have it ready until 7 tomorrow". Me: "are you serious? It showed a window when I booked". Shipping Clerk : "are you a contractor? You must be because Schneider keeps sending y'all on a window, but they dont do that to their trucks". This left me driving south to the truck stop, then back north the next morning, then back south after picking up the load. All told it probably added 30 miles to the load. Simple math .... add 30 miles to a 100 mile load, you've just cut the rate by 30 percent. GRrrr!

Thats a good point I hadn't thought about that. I never even considered the other state maybe they just like SNI who knows. Good observation.

Oh noooo In camp Hill all of our trailers are ready at 1700 the day before i picked my Monday load friday evening, we dont even have to speak with shipping they put the bills in a mailbox we sign go to the droplot, hook and book.
