No. I did not recently get a dui. And I simply had a few unopened beers in the sleeper. Not like I was smoking crack going down the road. Glad im not getting a suspension for something so petty as having a few unopened beers in my sleeper. Its not justifiable anyhow.

You did, but that's besides the point. You knew that you may not have alcoholic beverages in the truck with you. You knew that, it's not new. This is inexcusable at this point. You should lose your job, the company gets dinged on this too, and you probably will.

You knew the rule, you broke the rule, you got caught. It does not matter if you think it is right or wrong or deserved, if you do the crime you have to do the time. Alcohol and driving do not mix. Alcohol and a big rig next to my kids really do not mix. You may say you only drink when off duty and I say pretty close to ########. I do believe that there are times you have driven impaired. No sympathy from this front. You got a DUI and you STILL can not leave the beer alone? If you worked for me, another driver would be picking up the truck and you would be riding the puppy mobile home. The liability of you in a truck is HUGE! If you were to get in an accident and the beer was found, you not only destroy your life but the lives of the owners, office workers and other drivers that all work for this company that will have to shut it's doors to pay the judgement against them in civil court.

Ignorance of the law is no defence. Try it in court next time.

Because it's in black and white in the FMCSA handbook and told to you by every company you drive for. Everyone knows you're not allowed to have alcohol in the cab of a CMV. The only time you are permitted to have alcohol is if you're hauling it and that what it says on the BOL and it's in the trailer.

How do you know that every company that I drove for me told me? You dont know. Be like me saying that I know what all of your past employers told you. Not likely huh?
