I have yet to experience that issue. My loads are always ready. Maybe those other locations have more loads or are also distributing other things

I went to Chicago for $1.82 all miles instead with a light load.
Anytime I can go to Chicago for even just an okay rate I go because it's big $$$ coming out of here.
And I'm parked 3 miles away from consignee at the Schneider terminal in Chicago.
Oh man how nice it is to have places to park everywhere with Schneider. That I must say makes life a lot better.

    wljackson and skyviper73 Thank this.

Yes, it's one of the perks SNI has...parking. The other one is you can use the company car.

    ew2108 Thanks this.

Yeah they are heavy as hell. But I'm averaging over $2 on them so it balances out.

Hiiiiii Everyone I've been tossed back into the pit with the rest of you. I think Sni realized i was making to much money I pumped the well dry they've flooded the customer i was running for with company trucks.

Over that month and a half I have to say my thought process has completely changed. Heavy means nothing anymore. Before i was hesitant to haul anything heavy after 60+ loads of 35k + Im more willing to run anything that pays. I think it was a good lesson for me.

So one day off the account and alllll hell broke loose i swear i didnt miss not dealing with regular customers.

I finished a delivery and was assigned a drop mt task. Arrived at that customer and they looking through files and say yeah we don't need that. Great wasted my time. Power up and get to my shipper give security all the info and he asks

"Are you guys in partnership with carrier xyz"
me "no not that i know of"
    him " alright standby"
    me "whats that all about"
him *returns* " sooo your load is on xyz carriers trailer and we dont know whose load it is"
me "oh no.. not like this"
him "check with your dispatch we may be able to reload it if it is yours"
me " how do we confirm its ours and not theirs?"
    him " i dont know"

I call in and wait 25 minutes.

Him " he bro they close in 17 minutes fyi"
    Me " thanks support shaft.
I get someone on the phone and explain the situation and that we have 13 minutes to resolve it.
They cant get the customer on the phone
Now with 3 minutes left i say forget it ill deal with it tomorrow.

I wake up the next morning and my ICA has handled everything got Delay pay and drop pay for the trailer and scrapped that load.
Im eating breakfast thinking to myself welcome back to the choice board, i cant believe this shi!!!!

Catch you all later gotta go deliver before i take the weekend off.

I picked up a load at Massillon, OH the other day and there were a ton of company trucks in and out of there. There were probably 8 loaded trailers sitting there and all of them were being picked up by company drivers. I didn't see one IC there. There were 3 or 4 of the loads on the load board when I booked it so they are available. If IC's aren't booking the loads then someone has to cover them. I just looked at the load board next week for Camp Hill and there's a 164 mile load paying $800
