I work for a contractor at FedEx ground. I make .55/mile on a dedicated run with 2800 miles a week. Show me another company driver making that with weekends off. You should rethink your comment.Rubicon, sdsurfer77, X-Country and 1 other person Thank this.

You're wrong. With the fuel surcharge it's 2.11 per mile.YBTrans Thanks this.

You are clueless! The contractor I work for is a millionaire. He made that money being a contractor for fedex. All of us that drive for him are safe. We are never pushed to run in bad conditions. Most of us have 10+ years driving exp. At FedEx if you put a truck in the ditch you are disqualified for life! If you high hook a trailer and drop it in the yard you are disqualified for 3 years. None of your points are valid. You are misinformed and over generalizing. I will put my experience and qualifications as a truck driver against yours any day of the week and come out on top every time. I agree that there are bad fedex drivers. But they are a minority. It might not seem that way to an outsider. But 5% of over 100k trucks is a lot of wrecks to be had. And we can all agree that at any company at least 5% of the drivers are bad. But i digress, I'm sure you have some super trucking to do. And i have .55/mile to make and go home this weekend and every weekend.X-Country, spectacle13 and icsheeple Thank this.

Then if you go in ditch your disqualified for life fed ex must have a huge turn over cause I havent been threw many snow storms or icey conditions in mt id wa or ut co or wy when you dont see a fed ex wadded up in the ditch somewhere. Some of the most unprofessional drivers on the road from what ive seen. Maybe 5% of them are good drivers but those 5% must all run down southFajo Thanks this. -

I think those who are mad at fed x r x ditchers

In my 4-wheeler I am most cautious around Falcon, FedEx, & Wal-Mart drivers. They are the worst and most reckless IMO.
