So there is KR's cue to completely destroy PP and salvage his rep, therefore coming out a winner in this ordeal. It's obvious PP is incompetent if this is the work they do on a high profile engine build. I mean come on, there were pretty good odds of Microblue using this engine as a promo and pulling the bearings at 250k to show how much micro blue was left. To not even put their bearings in completely baffles me. They could have got away with not putting in their cylinder packs much easier than freaking bearings.

PP probably just figured it was all snake oil anyway and no one but Microblew would know...
Davidlee Thanks this. -
Edited to add: You know KR won't attack PP. They're attached at the hip at this point. They'll "get to the bottom of this" and team up to tell a story with a happy ending. I enjoy a happy ending so I hope they give the truck owners a really good one. -
KR's show will be on in ~45 minutes. Here's the number: (347) 884-8327

Is the lab results conclusive proof there was no microblue ? Or is it that microblue comes off so completely that it all comes out in the oil changes ?
Red, I see your point. I misunderstood your first post. I don't fully agree with your cynical laissez faire attitude. I believe in accountability on some level. Especially when profiteering is involved. While the fool me once, bad on you, fool me twice, bad on me rule holds some weight. There is also some social responsibility on all of us to identify hucksters and prevent them from continuing to fleece unsuspecting victims. Fool me once, bad on you, fool 100 others while I said nothing, bad on me too.

Red Foreman, I agree, KR is a carnival huckster.

After all, there is no firm answer for every possible product and service against every business case. At least not one that I would trust or follow from, let's just call it what it would be, a regulatory agency of government. I can think of another example where you and I had completely different experiences with the exact same truck-related service, from the very same vendor. In hindsight, is it better for some potential customer to rely completely upon either one of our experiences? And if so, how much of that responsibility bears back on you or I for reporting that experience? Or of possible harm or benefit to the vendor's reputation? I mean, we're both apparently credible sources for that report, right?
So is it either of our fault if someone makes a decision based on that? Or do they decide for themselves by doing their own due diligence, and own the outcome?double yellow, Ukumfe and brian991219 Thank this.
