The driver has very poor hygeine. I can bear him smelling and looking bad and his gas problems - but he gets germs everywhere. He has a great cheerfull personality which I enjoy, but he gets angry when I criticism him. He also "pleasures himself" back in the sleeper while I am driving and he leaves the tissues all over the floor and doesnt pick them up. He cleans up other garbage but loves to leave those tissues everywhere. I am making good money so I dont want to complain at this time. So I suppose I'll just have to bear with it.

Nasty, perverted and could be construed as sexual harassment. Definitely, you don't have to put up with it. Confront him, go to your dispatcher, even embarrass the guy into squaring himself away. I wouldn't put up with that sort of foolishness and no one else should have to either. If you put up with this for a week, in two will he feel comfortable sitting around in all his dirty nekkidness while he gives you directions around Houston? Ya need to put and end to it. This sort of thing only escalates.

    Best of luck.

The amount of money I would have to make to put up with this nasty person would have to be insane.

Far more I'm sure than what you get now.

Other wise its solo for me!

The more you put up with, the more he is going to try and get away with. Tell him to save his "wacking" for the rest stops or you will report him. If you don't confront him, he's gonna take it to the next level. I'll leave that to your imagination!:biggrin_25524:

You might want to get some pix of the mess that he is leaving on the floor for you to find. Otherwise this could become a "he said, she said" type of situation.

This is not something you should ignore or "live with." It IS sexual harrassment, and is quite possibly leading up to a sexual assault. No job is worth this. Let your dispatcher know what is going on and that you are going to get out of it.

Then if the company does not accomodate you immediately , quite and contact (Oh Lordy I hate to have to say this:) a lawyer.

YOU MAY BE IN DANGER HERE!

What's his name and your company? I will call and tell them he is a "KNOWN WHACKER!" :biggrin_2559: just kidding!

I wouldn't put up with that either. Surly your dispatcher can do something. Can you request another truck? When you call whomever, don't give them a choice. You tell them what you want to happen. If they give you any kind of flack, bring up safety. In most cases, safety has more power than the owner. I would get off of the truck, now! I wouldn't give "whacko" another chance to endanger your safety. Good luck.

contact your supervisor or the safety dept asap. Get a new teammate or go solo. If he's whacking while your driving & not being suddle about it thats a major problem. I feel sorry for your rump when your sleeping. I dont think this is going to play out well for you if you stay in that truck. As a friends dad told us before we went into the military KEEP A TIGHT ###. BEST OF LUCK ,CLINCH THAT BUTT.
