If you would like to send a private message to some one I think you can have the administrator do it for you. You might want to contact the administrator to find out.

I don't think he can because you have to have so many posts before you can send someone an email. At least that is the way I understand it.

Well i was headed up to Butler Sun. the 30th, but need to be off a few days to get home stuff done. Honey do's.. Going to Butler on Sun. 4/5.. Confirmed my hotel for Sun. with Amy in compliance. Driving my self up with the wife so I can bring my own EQ.. Amy was very helpful with a few more questions I had. First, not a problem with the wife coming 1 or 2 days. She said that they would have a list of used trucks available at Quality Leasing. Would not know exactly wht trucks would be available, she did say that the Lonestar and Pete would be new. Also new trailers arriving a couple times a month. Bring long form to skip physical if current in last 90 days. Full 5 yr bumper to bumper factory warranties on new trucks, and generally used truck have remainder of warranties. Once I'm there I will start a new thread for Celadon Flatbed with daily happenings to enlighten others. Till then, good luck... thanks to Truckerpete and cnote for info posted.

This my first post on this site so I will do my best to be accurate and to the point. I currently haul for Eagle but I am returning the truck after less than 2 weeks after getting the keys below is my own factual dealings with Eagle.

Eagle is owned by Celadon and is very young company only 3-4 months in fact the orientation if you can call it that is all computer based videos and all to do with Celadon and nothing to do with Eagle.
as with all owner operators everyday your wheels are not moving you still have money coming out of your pocket, you have 2 weeks grace on the truck and trailer payment but you still have insurances, qualcomm fees, maintenance fee fuel usage fee, wc/occ acc fee ? (still do not know what that one is) plates, and QC fee this totals up to around $375. so orientation is not paid for but you get hotel and food but my first paycheck was the following Friday after starting on the Wednesday was for $30 this is what i had to live on and my family until the this Friday when I get paid again.
I leased on with Eagle for 12 days now and been sat a total of 6 days without paid freight, I would like to point out that this was not of my doing I was ready and able but it was very bad organisation of my dispatcher and management.
I have done a total of 2735 miles for Eagle and 660 of those miles were traveling to pick ups and therefore unpaid.

as earlier this is just my experiences with Eagle and I know all companies have good and bad points employees that do well and employees that do bad but the main reason I am returning the truck is that y truck payments will start next Friday and because of the lack of paid freight I will work the rest of the week up Tuesday next week (which is when all paperwork has to be in for it to be included on that Fridays paycheck) I will end up owing Eagle money which will mean i will receive no pay and then the following week i will only get a few dollars and then the third week I may get a reasonable check.
I was told by someone in management that most people come out of orientation and start work that first weeks paycheck they are in deficit meaning they owe Eagle then they have to play catch up.

I hope this may help some people in making a decision about Eagle

I'm not understanding why ur throwing in the towel so quickly,I thought you were in charge of getting ur own loads off load boards and not connected to a dispatcher at all. Now I'm wondering if this company has it ducks in a row,or is it the drivers not knowing how to operate his business . Any other drivers having this issue with them? I've been watching this company also and is ready to come aboard ,but won't if I can't make decent money and pay foe expenses.

It's my understanding that one can pull loads through the dispatchers as well as find their own loads and send them through the company planners for approval as well.
freedom to choose loads as well as drum up your own. I see that as a win win.
I deal with brokers everyday. Would be business as usual with the addition of a new truck and the freedom to run where I choose. That sounds like a great opportunity to me.
Personally, I think I am going to jump on this. Holding out for a couple more days.
