Mostly Texas. Our region is the busiest. For the most part we run from the valley up to DFW and everything in between. We also run LA, and OK. It just depends on timing and hours you have available. Other than that they keep us busy.

A lot of money to be made whether running close to Houston or hundreds of miles away. Manage your time well and making over $400 a day will seem easy. I make money on every trip, so short or long makes no difference to me. :)

What does manage your time mean? Going off duty when you should be on duty when unloading groceries and live loads everyday? Off duty when you wash your truck weekly for no pay?

When you say manage your time well, what does that mean? Does that mean being off duty ( when you should legally be on duty) when your backed into the grocery docks everyday? Does that mean being off duty (when you should legally be on duty) when your live loading? How about washing your truck off duty?

Managing my time equals spending my 14 hour clock being productive instead of goofing off and/or taking extended meal and/or 10 hour rest breaks. Managing my time has nothing to do with any kind of log falsification. All job duties are logged On Duty as they should be.

    Buzzard2157 and UTurn1 Thank this.

That's good.I won't unload groceries, unload dirt, unload mulch, unload mowers,wash/clean trucks or do any live loads (while working off the clock for 45 minutes for free) unless I'm on duty. It's a daily thing anymore in region 5.On paper we get a mileage raise but spend more time in the dock every week.Unless a driver is on a set run or does the previously mentioned job duties off duty, only the Koolaid drinkers got a raise. Not accusing you of anything, just saying.
