Not everyone knows what they're worth they don't know what's out there. The grass doesn't seem greener. Scared to switch. There's a lot of reasons. You've never worked at a job you hated longer than you wanted to?

Well I know from experience, when I started I went with Roehl, I was lucky to bring home 4-500 a week, lots of people said just stay and get your year, well I took 50% of that advice, I've got my year but not with Roehl, I quit after getting my 3rd 400 dollar paycheck, went and worked for a small company out of St. Louis, averaged 1200-1600 a week easy, now I'm an IC with SNI, I pick and chose where I wanna go, I wouldn't do anything different, it's all stepping stones, and also depends on how motivated the driver is. Anything is possible

I've given the same advice before took me 8 months to take that advice myself. If you're not happy, quit. There's something better if you're willing to find it.

Roehl was one of my backup choices when I drove for Werner of course I wanted to train too at the time.. 38cpm as a trainer sounded like a huge payday.

C'mon guys, this is not slavery and its pretty offensive to make that comparison.

Were slaves free to leave any time, and take their paycheque and references and just move along to another plantation for work?

Slavery offered no element of choice for poor people sold into it and was a death sentence for a great many. I have yet to see a truck driver chained and shackled to the wheel, emaciated and executed for the crime of making eye contact with the boss.

I have a hard time accepting that grown adults are so stuck in their victim mentality that they would compare a tragedy and total moral failure of monumental proportions where tens of thousands lost their lives to having a job they could leave anytime and were paid to do.

Do you compare your life to the Holocaust when they run out of chocolate cake at the Petro, too?
