It's just a pee test .....not hair.....and there medical clinic onsite is super liberal with somethings like bp readings....some guys they let test 5 times over two days to get bp readings low enough...of course I don't know there medical history but at least it's not one high reading and your out....

yeah I need to find out how that works myself while here...bit by bit piece by piece i Aquire info that is useful and helpful....but I did get lots of helpful info about operations over the phone before I came and it sounded solid.....😉

A few of the issues mentioned are true at least for eagle and celadon lease/operator side.....Mostly computer based videos and quizes and pretty unorganized as its not really directed like a classroom setting but most of us found our way onto the computer for videos and quizzing, but could be better organized and structured. Also apparently lease purchase, some recruiters and the orientation team are not on the same page with some things! Primarily lease purchase said only lonestar trucks were available new,not kenworths and freightliners as I was personally told by quality and others were told by there recruiters.Big fail on that matter and after quite an uproar by many drivers they did concede there error in not having there teams on the same page....THX celadon and eagle for your commitment to drivers needs as many of us came quite away and most came away with at least a commitment to the truck that suited them better..Also fail the first two days on not having enough shuttle drivers to ferry all the drivers to hotels in a timely matter but that issue seemed to improve day three....also it's not all the companies fault as the college final fours are taking place here this weekend with three states nearby with teams in the tourney so hotel rooms are scarce and hotels are in some cases quite far.....like to say also seems an open company as trainees are mixing quite openly with celadon employees, and I'm sure we are quite a distraction to them but I mostly just get help and smiles from the employees....big plus on eagle/celadon....

Nice post. Even better attitude. You're definitely showing great patience and understanding toward Eagle's disorganized methods. They are pretty new at this and will need some time to get systems in place. We drivers rarely show patience with our carriers when in reality, trucking is so chaotic that it is really difficult for things to go smoothly all the time.

Well I new they were newly formed or bought and i for one find it exciting to get in now and grow with them...but I don't expect it to go smoothly but it is a well capitalized operation with celadon behind it so I saw that as a plus...I think there growth projections I heard were far to ambitious...but I'm not sure of the sourcing on that...it's not for the faint hearted or family guys with wife's and kids needing steady pay checks, unless well experienced...and would advise those without previous lease purchase experience to bow out....seriously......it's exciting but risky also....

Well it disn't really matter to me until I heard the lonestars are getting really low mpgs per some in operations...so I wanted anything but that...but maybe a kw t680 hard to get good info on the used trucks that are ready to be released to lease purchase like engines in the internationals from 2013 and other available makes and models until they let u go over to ther...so it's very frustrating so I hold hope the commitment made to me will be kept...even if it's only white,lol....another thing after I saw how they totally blinged out the lonestars....with chrome and lights and how the stacks and filters are....I can't stand it!also the extended frame...just not my style...i like to fly under the radar, generic and boring, but nice....daddy style,lol....:biggrin_2559:
