Well ok that's good to know. Thanks for ur info and can I ask how do you know about all the trucks available.also do you know what transmission they have in them
-
I'm sitting next to a Eagle driver currently. Out here in Indiana somewhere. He says that he likes them so far. He has dispatch get his loads for him,and he normally has a choice of 3 different loads. He's in a brand new Lone star. Says that they are running him hard. He's been there 3 weeks.
I've had my eye on this company for a short time now, thank you for the info so far. Please keep it up. -
Well that's good to hear. I'm looking hard at this company also

Stormy, hows the mpg on the Lonestars?
-
I've been talking to the guy who started this thread, truckerpete24, and he just switched out of a cascadia and into a lone star. He is getting 6.5-8mpg. imo not bad for a heavy truck that's not even broken in yet.bill3_us Thanks this.
-
That's correct, they are 13 speed eaton's
-
I know because I completed orientation this week, and I was at the terminal, and both quality locations today. the kw's and lonestars have the eaton 13 speed. the Cascadia regular 10 speed, the Columbia's 10spd, the used Cascadia's I saw a red auto a blue super 10 and a few regular 10. the prostars regular 10. the pete's have both 13spd and some used 10spdEddieForHire Thanks this.

Hey bill3
if I remember right he said he was around 6.5 mpg. But truth be told I'm not sure he was playing with a full deck if ya know what i mean.
I've been using the "let's truck" app that helps keep track of your fuel mileage. With my 2015 Freightliner Cascadia Evolution I'm averaging 7.09 over the past 5 weeks. I'm governed at 62 on the floor and 65mph on cruise. Just incase someone else is thinking about getting a Cascadia Evolution. I'd still take a 389 or a 379 any day of the week.
Does anyone know at what speed they govern their trucks at??? Thanksbill3_us, jman82 and truck medic Thank this. -
Thanks stormy.. done some searches, looks like kw680 7.7 or so.. lonestar in mid 7's... the Evo should be doing better I would have thought. I wil probably go with lonestar. Just wish they had mid roof single bunk.. was by recruiting all celadon lease trucks hi rise double.
